I am currently finishing my PhD in 2025 at Eindhoven University of Technology, which focuses on understanding how trust and reliance in AI decision-support develop over time.
Although I am a firm believer that AI / algorithms / computers / [ technology X] can be our means to improve the way we live, learn, and work, I do not want to picture a future where we delegate decisions or give up agency on the things we are held accountable for. Human-AI interactions should never threaten people's purpose, well-being, fun, or pride, so understanding the human as the center of designing interactions is the way to help people to thrive. I hope I can continue to put that vision into practive in the near future.
If you are interested in my work, get me on board for a research collaboration, start a philsophical discussion, or challenge me with an intriguing question, feel free to reach out via e-mail or connect through my social platforms.
Happy to talk! Patricia
